Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to lead evaluations of potential properties for acquisition and to design and oversee field programs from target definition through resource expansion. You will collaborate with data scientists and senior advisors to support investment decisions and ensure rigorous evaluation across active projects.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in mineral exploration or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of ore deposit types and exploration methods.
• Experience leading field programs from target definition through drilling campaigns.
• Proficiency with geographic information systems and geoscience software.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, environment and community relations.
• Rigorous analysis of geoscientific datasets to identify exploration targets.
• Design, budget, permit, and execute field programs from grassroots to advanced projects.
• Provide technical guidance to in-country teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop insightful analytical methods.
