Job summary

Octagon is seeking a senior experiential events producer in Chicago with flexible hybrid work. You will lead event and hospitality programs, from concept through on-site execution, coordinating across multiple teams.

The role requires 9+ years in events/experiential marketing, strong hospitality expertise, and excellent client management.

The base salary range is $90,000–$120,000, with in-office requirements and travel as needed.

Qualifications

9+ years in event, brand marketing, experiential, and/or hospitality roles.
Experience owning or leading complex programs in an event setting.
Strong hospitality background with the guest journey focus.
Excellent project management with accountability and operational excellence.
Ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines across workstreams.
Proven ability to build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end event and hospitality programming from concept to on-site delivery.
Oversee complex programs and ensure clear ownership across workstreams.
Manage day-to-day client communications and proactive follow-through.
Develop guest-journey oriented experiential and hospitality plans.
Coordinate budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple projects.
Mentor junior staff and ensure consistent delivery of recaps and deadlines.
