Job summary

Octagon is seeking a dedicated hospitality events professional to join our team. This role supports multiple programs nationwide with broad exposure to our offices and clients while assisting with elite events.

You will participate in event planning, operational logistics, vendor management, production planning and on-site execution, working within a service-oriented team committed to seamless, white-glove hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in related events field; past hospitality experience preferred.
• Passion for sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture is a plus.
• Experience in golf hospitality is a plus.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to balance multiple projects on tight deadlines.
• Strong client relationship skills and flexibility with personalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of event logistics across multiple hospitality programs.
• Research and implement creative hospitality experiences and premium touchpoints.
• Manage third-party vendors, timelines, budgets and execution.
• Assist with décor concepts, layouts and client branding integration.
• Own gifting execution from concept to distribution and inventory management.
• Support asset management including signage and collateral.
• Assist with budget creation, reconciliation, and recap.
• Participate in weekly status calls with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead food and beverage operations planning and coordination with venues.
• Prepare status updates, guides, and staff documentation.
• Assist with event results reporting and wrap-up.
• Oversee contracts, certificates of insurance, purchase orders and vendor payments.
