Job summary

The Sage Group is seeking a Sr. Experiential Designer to lead spatial experiences, live shows, immersive venues, brand worlds, and public-facing environments at cultural and commercial scale.

You will shape how people encounter AI in physical spaces, from concept to fabrication, with hands-on sketching, modeling, and on-site supervision. The role emphasizes behavior-driven design and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• A portfolio of built experiential/Lab prototypes, environments, exhibits, installations, events, or brand spaces you can walk through from concept to fabrication.
• Demonstrated conceptual range: generate several different directions for the same brief and justify the chosen path.
• Hands-on production craft across spatial design, 3D modeling, prototyping, and materials; proficient with Rhino, Blender, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Figma, or Adobe Suite.
• Experience designing for how people move through and behave in a space, with ability to explain decisions in terms of behavior they produce.
• Experience working with fabricators, AV/production partners, and vendors from drawings to on-site installation.

Responsibilities

• Set the concept and develop distinct creative directions before deciding what the experience communicates.
• Design the behavior and sequence of visitor movements and testable decision rationales.
• Produce sketches, models, renders, and prototypes; test with real people early and adapt.
• Develop drawing sets, specs, brief fabricators, AV partners, and production vendors; stay on-site for installations.
• Build a consistent design language with reusable components across events and spaces.
• Prototype interactive elements using AI models and integrate them into physical spaces.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing, research, product, and workplace teams to ensure the technology is accurately represented.
