Job summary

Aquent is seeking an Experience Designer for a remote, United States-based engagement. You will drive human-centered design from discovery through delivery in healthcare and pharmacy domains, shaping products used by millions.

You will engage in user research, interaction and visual design, and collaborate with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to deliver impactful digital experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/experience design roles.
• 2+ years in at least one core design pillar: user research, interaction design, or visual design.
• 1+ year experience with Agile and lean methodologies.
• 1+ year working with clients or stakeholders on enterprise applications.
• 1+ year leading product design decisions from research through implementation.
• 1+ year using design/prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure, InVision.
• 1+ year experience with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, responsive design).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Solve critical user problems by understanding needs and delivering new or improved products.
• Prioritize collaboration over heavy documentation in lean/iterative processes.
• Contribute as a full‑stack designer across research, usability, IA, wireframes, visuals, and CSS/HTML.
• Work with cross-functional teams—designers, PMs, engineers—to align on outcomes.
• Embrace agile mindset and adapt design processes to optimize results.
• Keep abreast of AI tools, UX trends, and best practices.
