Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Experience Design Senior Associate to shape user experiences across web, mobile, and assisted surfaces within Card Acquisition. You will partner with product, engineering, content, analytics, and risk to translate customer needs and business goals into accessible, production-ready experiences.

You will contribute to end-to-end design of the card shopping journey, from discovery to application, while applying design systems and scalable patterns to improve shopper

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a user experience design role focused on digital products.
• Ability to create visually appealing designs using industry-standard tools.
• Experience designing and optimizing user experiences across web, mobile, and other digital channels.
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable design decisions.
• Proficient understanding of inclusive design, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop elegant solutions to interaction problems across products and platforms, ensuring consistency with industry best practices.
• Apply information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs that improve navigation and findability.
• Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and turn data into insights for decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Operate with an iterative design mindset, incorporating user feedback to improve experiences.
• Analyze market trends, user research, and behavior to inform design decisions and team strategy.
• Design key parts of the card shopping funnel (discovery, comparison, selection, application) with journeys, IA, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI specs.
• Build with our design system, while knowing when to extend or adapt it for experience goals.
• Propose scalable pattern improvements with accessibility, compliance, and reusable specs.
• Partner with product, engineering, content, analytics, brand, and risk to support delivery through QA and release.
• Contribute to experimentation and optimization work with hypotheses, success metrics, and learnings.
