Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an experienced Expeditor to support the Supply Chain function in Houston. You will expeditiously manage equipment/material logistics, coordinate with vendors, engineering and project teams to ensure on-time readiness and delivery in line with schedules.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in expediting, deep knowledge of logistics, documentation processes (ITP/WPS/VDR), and proven stakeholder management. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of expediting experience in a high-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, purchasing, and project document requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships.
• Experience coordinating vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Expedite assigned items to ensure on-time readiness and delivery.
• Coordinate vendor documentation and approvals (drawings, ITP, WPS, VDR).
• Lead/vendor meetings, track delays, and report status.
• Review invoices for accuracy and assist with freight claims.
• Maintain expediting files and records.
