Job summary
Joint Research And Development, Llc seeks a Senior Expeditionary Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain expeditionary communications networks for U.S. Army test missions. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering or expeditionary communications.
- Experience in DoD/U.S. Army or mission-critical environments.
- DoD 8140 work role proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, deploy, configure, and sustain expeditionary networks for Army test missions.
- Develop rapidly deployable network architectures with RF, wireless, wired Ethernet, and fiber.
- Conduct RF site surveys, spectrum assessments, and interference evaluations.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless APs, antennas, and related equipment.
- Lead installation, testing, validation, and cybersecurity compliance of network systems.
- Provide senior technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
