Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer to support DoD LANs across the United States. The role requires network design, administration, troubleshooting, and refresh work with travel up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS). A US passport or eligibility is required.

Applicants should have 2+ years IT experience, DoD IAT II or higher, CCNA, and a DoD Secret clearance. Remote work within the United States is supported, with responsibilities spanning voice, data, and wireless networks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive information technology experience.
• Experience in telecommunications network design and management.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal direction on moderately complex requirements.
• Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and develops telecommunications networks supporting voice, data, video, and wireless services.
• Develops designs and plans for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from start to finish.
• Analyzes problems and characteristics of information to be transported.
• Defines problems and develops system requirements and network specifications.
• Coordinates with information system professionals to implement network services.
• Develops backup plans and alternative solutions with functional users.
