Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; extensive relevant work experience may substitute.
• Minimum 5 years in purchasing, expediting, supply chain, or materials management.
• At least 2 years expediting experience in engineering-to-order or make-to-order environments.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of Expeditors.
• Oversee open purchase order follow-up activities.
• Monitor supplier commitments and delivery performance.
• Develop recovery plans for late or critical materials.
• Develop expediting processes; drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Receiving, Manufacturing, and Projects.
• Manage shortage reports and delivery escalations.
• Drive supplier corrective actions related to delivery performance.
• Monitor KPIs and material availability; communicate risks.
