Job summary

TAS Energy Inc., a Houston-area specialist in modular data center solutions, is seeking a Purchasing Manager - Expeditors to lead expediting, delivery tracking, and shortage management. You will supervise Expeditors, oversee POs, and coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, and Manufacturing to minimize production disruptions.

The role requires 5 years in purchasing or expediting, a bachelor's degree, and strong ERP/Lean skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; extensive work experience may substitute.
• 5 years in purchasing/expediting or materials management with 2+ years expediting.
• Experience in engineer-to-order or make-to-order environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision of Expeditors.
• Oversee open purchase order follow-up activities and supplier commitments.
• Monitor delivery performance and develop recovery plans for late materials.
• Develop expediting processes and implement standardized work.
• Train staff on tools and databases to meet department goals.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Receiving, Manufacturing, and Project teams.
• Manage shortage and delivery escalation reports; drive corrective actions.
• Support production schedule adherence through proactive expediting.
