FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Advisor, Executive Search and Talent Intelligence to lead enterprise-wide executive recruitment initiatives.

The role reports to senior leadership and partners with Human Resources and Talent Management to align search strategies with business objectives. You will map markets, assess candidates, and build external leadership pipelines while delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive recruiting experience, including executive-level searches
• Strong understanding of executive assessment and leadership competency frameworks
• Experience consulting with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of executive search engagements for Director, VP, SVP, and other leadership roles
• Develop customized search strategies aligned with business objectives and talent requirements
• Conduct executive market mapping, candidate engagement, assessment, and selection
• Build proactive leadership pipelines and support succession planning efforts
• Serve as trusted advisor to executives and hiring teams throughout the process
• Monitor market intelligence and provide data-driven insights on compensation and talent availability
• Manage relationships with retained search firms and external partners when used
