- Serve as a trusted technology partner for GM’s senior executives and executive admins
- Deliver high-touch support for executive offices, leadership transitions, board-level interactions, travel, and high-visibility business moments
- Anticipate executive technology needs and prevent issues
- Act as the team’s Mac support expert, covering macOS, Apple hardware, peripherals, mobile ecosystem integration, and executive end-user workflows
- Define and mature Apple device standards, best practices, and support approaches
- Partner with Client Engineering, Security, Identity, Networking, Collaboration, and other technical teams
- Evaluate tooling, automation, device standards, and modernization opportunities
- Identify service gaps and operational inefficiencies and improve the executive support model
- Recommend and implement improvements to team structure, support coverage, workflows, and escalation paths
- Develop playbooks, standards, repeatable processes, service metrics, and continuous improvement practices
- Lead complex executive escalations and drive root-cause analysis and long-term remediation
- Ensure readiness for critical meetings, events, and executive travel
- Promote standardization and operational discipline while maintaining personalized executive support
- Raise technical, communication, and white-glove service standards across the team
- Coach and mentor team members in Mac support, executive engagement, and high-stakes issue management
- Build relationships across support teams and IT towers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience in IT support, with strong experience in executive, VIP, or other high-touch support environments
- Expert-level experience supporting Mac devices and Apple ecosystems in an enterprise environment
- Demonstrated success supporting senior leaders with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Experience improving service models, support operations, workflows, or team effectiveness in a complex enterprise environment
- Strong technical background in end-user computing, collaboration tools, conferencing technology, mobile support, and incident management
- Proven ability to influence across teams, align stakeholders, and drive improvement without relying solely on formal authority
