Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an expert to lead Apple OS/hardware initiatives in a large enterprise. You will guide MDM deployment, strategy, and procurement for Apple products, while managing Mac hardware and vendor relations.

You will analyze user feedback, document requirements, and translate them into technical improvements. Collaboration across teams and a strong communication skillset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading development and external deployment activities for digital products and offerings.
• 5+ years of experience using/supporting/troubleshooting Apple Devices.
• 5+ years of experience in Apple’s MDM framework and Endpoint Management.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and capturing user feedback and requirements.
• 5+ years of experience with personal computing systems and product design.
• Experience collaborating across multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Serve as key focal and subject matter expert for Apple operating systems and hardware for the enterprise
• Deliver expertise in Apple MDM frameworks, including implementation/deployment at enterprise scale
• Provide technical strategy, roadmaps, and standards for hardware and software acquisition for Apple products
• Provide product management for Mac computing hardware and accessories, including vendor relations
• Review non-standard justifications for client hardware and software
• Analyze, collect, and document feedback and improvements from the user community
• Document requirements and implement changes that improve user experience and enable the business
• Partner with enterprise functions to implement process and technical improvements
• Support improvements to help desk knowledge base articles based on problem frequency and known resolutions
• Update and improve knowledge base articles based on end-user interactions and feedback
• Test feature releases and communicate release plans to end users

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading development and external deployment activities for digital products and offerings
• 5+ years of experience using/supporting/troubleshooting Apple Devices
• 5+ years of experience in Apple’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) framework and Endpoint Management (e.g. JAMF, Workspace One, Intune)
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and capturing user feedback and requirements
• 5+ years of experience with personal computing systems and product design
• Experience collaborating across multi-functional teams
• Experience deploying Apple products in highly regulated industries
• Deep experience with third-party applications for Apple platforms in enterprise settings
• Advanced knowledge with bash and python scripting
• macOS & iOS development experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
