Job summary

GE Vernova, a leader in wind energy, seeks an Executive Counsel to manage major litigation, arbitration, and disputes within the Wind segment globally, with emphasis on U.S. risks and construction matters.

You will guide strategic decisions, coordinate with internal teams, and supervise outside counsel to ensure cost-efficient, favorable outcomes. You will collaborate with commercial, compliance, and risk teams to identify litigation risks, develop proactive strategies, and drive best-practice

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Member in good standing of one or more U.S. state bars or the D.C. bar.
• Minimum of 10 years of litigation/arbitration experience.
• Experience in high-stakes U.S. litigation, product liability and international arbitration.
• Strong legal writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage significant litigation, arbitration, and disputes for the Wind Segment in the U.S. and globally.
• Develop and implement litigation and claim resolution strategies with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Provide concise, actionable legal advice to senior management and internal clients.
