About the Team

The Compensation team manages compensation programs for DoorDash. Our work impacts every employee globally through the programs we administer. The team also has an important role to play by ensuring our employee value proposition is competitive in the marketplace and financially sustainable.
About the Role

This role manages the development, implementation, and management of DoorDash's executive compensation and equity strategy to help us shape our future. You will provide consultation and support in scaling compensation and equity programs for our global team of executives and broad-based employees. Your work will help guide the continued development of DoorDash's compensation and equity programs as we scale.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  1. Partner with senior leadership across the company to shape how executive compensation enables DoorDash's overall compensation strategy.
  2. Support the end-to-end executive compensation process including preparation of board and committee materials and SEC filings such as our annual proxy statement.
  3. Create and implement process improvements that support employee engagement and enablement in our equity compensation programs. You'll get to be creative, leveraging out of the box thinking to help deliver a best in class experience for employees and leadership.
  4. Present compensation insights to partners across the business.
  5. Partner with department leaders, HR Business Partners, and recruiters on compensation related matters such as job evaluations, offers, and promotions.
  6. Partner with our equity administration team to execute equity program design changes to enhance overall employee experience.
  7. Conduct market studies and analysis to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment to our total rewards philosophy.
  8. Support business needs through analysis during the annual and mid-year compensation review cycles.
  9. Stay up-to-date with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements regarding employee pay.
  10. Work cross-functionally to provide compensation analyses and other deliverables to our partners on the Finance and Legal teams and business leaders.

  1. You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics or a related field.
  2. 6+ years of experience in broad-based or executive compensation.
  3. You have experience with equity compensation administration platforms like Morgan Stanley/Etrade.
  4. You have a keen ability to deliver against a plan with an operational mindset, and have a track record for helping design, driving, managing and scaling compensation programs through policies, processes, and systems.
  5. You have exceptional stakeholder management skills; you pride yourself on building strong relationships that serve as one of the foundations of your leadership.
  6. You have exceptional Excel/Google Sheets skills and have a track record of utilizing those skills to create dynamic models, tools, and analyses to support decision making.
  7. You have strong communication and presentation skills and have experience presenting analysis and findings to senior leaders.
  8. You can apply change management and thrive in an evolving business with ambiguity, while staying anchored to your goals and the Total Rewards strategy.
  9. You have Workday Experience (Advanced Comp).

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
