The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, highly organized, and discreet, capable of managing a complex calendar, travel, and communications while partnering with senior leaders and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience providing high-level support directly to a CEO and/or C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate beyond traditional administrative support through strategic coordination and project ownership.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities with discretion.
  • Polished executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern collaboration platforms; comfortable with AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, managing calendars, priorities, communications, and executive workflow.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, and decision-support materials.
  • Coordinate CEO-sponsored projects and cross-functional initiatives, tracking deliverables and removing roadblocks.
  • Act as liaison between the CEO, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Organize leadership meetings, offsites, events, and business reviews with agendas and follow-up.
  • Manage domestic and international travel, expenses, and executive reporting with confidentiality.

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Executive Assistant for an established global organization with a collaborative, high-performing, and innovative culture. This is a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity based in New York, NY, requiring three days per week onsite.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Executive Assistant will serve as a highly trusted partner and extension of the CEO's office, blending sophisticated executive support with strategic coordination, project ownership, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will play an integral role in optimizing the CEO's time, advancing executive priorities, coordinating key initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication across a complex global organization. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, highly organized, and exceptionally discreet, with the business acumen and executive presence to operate confidently alongside senior leaders and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, strategically managing a complex calendar, priorities, communications, follow-ups, and executive workflow while anticipating needs and maximizing the CEO's time.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, executive communications, and decision-support materials for important internal and external engagements.
  • Coordinate and help drive CEO-sponsored projects and cross-functional initiatives, tracking deliverables, facilitating accountability, identifying potential roadblocks, and keeping priorities moving forward.
  • Act as a key liaison between the CEO, executive leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and professional representation of the executive office.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, executive offsites, organizational events, business reviews, and other high-level initiatives, including agendas, content preparation, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Manage sophisticated domestic and international travel, expenses, executive reporting, documentation, and other operational priorities with exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Significant experience providing high-level support directly to a CEO and/or C-suite executives within a complex, fast-paced professional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate beyond traditional administrative support through strategic coordination, project ownership, executive partnership, and/or Chief of Staff-style responsibilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities, with the foresight to anticipate executive needs and confidently manage competing priorities.
  • Polished and personable executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, sound business judgment, and a proven ability to handle highly confidential matters with discretion.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern collaboration and productivity platforms, coupled with comfort learning new systems and leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This exciting direct-hire opportunity offers a base salary of up to approximately $150,000 annually, with potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate, along with a robust benefits package.
