Job Description
Fluor, a Fortune 500 company, is one of the largest professional services firms, providing engineering, procurement, construction, project management and related services, on a global basis. Fluor is currently seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to be located at the Dallas Headquarters office in Irving, Texas. This position will assist and support the Tax department.
Some of the primary responsibilities include:
• Works closely with department leadership and staff with minimum supervision, performing a broad range of very sensitive, confidential, and proprietary administrative functions
• Participates in the preparation of proprietary financial documents
• Processing tax payments including electronic funds transfers
• Processing completed tax reports and tax returns
• Perform administrative duties to include maintenance of tax department files, phone coverage, meeting coordination (including catering, teleconferences, and video conferences), handling incoming/outgoing mail (USPS Certified & FedEx Shipments), report preparation, presentations, composing correspondence for signature, expense reports, etc.
• Coordinate global travel arrangements for maximum cost effectiveness to include processing visa applications, adhering to security travel advisories and charter travel arrangements
• Perform research on internet for business purposes
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Network with other executive assistants to strengthen relationships and leverage knowledge of Company processes and practices
• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Proficient in standard software used in word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, e-mail, file management/storage, and schedule management (e.g. Microsoft 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

• Demonstrated ability to work in an atmosphere dealing with confidential and privileged matters
• Participate in department meetings, training, and functions
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Participate in Fluor University for training and career development
• Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
Preferred Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent
• Prior experience supporting a tax or finance group highly desired
• Experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping positions
• Expert computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the expert use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
• Team player
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Superior organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility
• Strong leadership and decision-making skill
Salary Range
62,500 to 103,500
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
