Job summary

Osceola County Sheriff's Office in Kissimmee, FL seeks aSenior Administrative Specialist to provide high-level support to the Department Administrator. You will coordinate office operations, prepare agenda items in SIRE, and analyze data for reports and studies.

The role requires extensive experience in executive administrative functions, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise clerical staff.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in Business or Public Administration or closely related field.
• Eight (8) years progressive experience in administrative/secretarial support to executive functions or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a Valid Florida’s Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides highly complex administrative support to the Department Administrator (Executive).
• Coordinates and manages assigned office operations to support County goals and liaises with County departments and agencies.
• Prepares and monitors agenda items in SIRE.
• Evaluates office procedures and workflow and suggests improvements for efficiency.
• Performs complex administrative duties including data analysis, reports processing, and documentation verification.
• Maintains calendars, schedules, and meeting coordination; may prepare agendas and travel arrangements.
• Supervises other clerical staff as needed.
