Job summary

Nordstrom seeks a Senior Engineer on the Productivity and Collaboration team to own architecture, administration, and automation of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, with emphasis on Exchange Online messaging infrastructure.

You will lead Microsoft 365 workload administration, automate at scale, and guide hybrid mail flow and security practices across Nordstrom’s environment. This role is hybrid in Seattle and requires in-office presence four days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 services, with deep, hands-on expertise in Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange.
• Experience administering Exchange Online/Server, including mail flow and EOP.

Responsibilities

• Write PowerShell scripts and Graph API automation for mailbox operations, tenant configuration, and reporting at scale.
• Build and maintain automation pipelines using Azure Automation Runbooks, Power Automate, and Azure Logic Apps to reduce manual tasks.
• Administer Exchange Online/Hybrid environments, mail flow, rules, and routing across on-premises and cloud.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, Azure Automation accounts, and Azure admin roles.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID synchronization for hybrid identity.
• Configure security/compliance features like DLP and retention policies in M365.
• Lead technical collaboration and mentorship on Exchange, M365, and Azure engineering best practices.
