Job summary

General Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Exchange Integration Engineer to join our mission-critical engineering team. You will bridge development and production, serving as SME for Microsoft Exchange across multiple isolated, high-security networks.

You will architect, test, and validate configurations in a dedicated laboratory environment, implement planning, rollout, and lifecycle maintenance in production, and mentor Tier 1–2 admins while coordinating with DISA on cloud tenant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of direct Exchange Server engineering and enterprise production support.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with Windows Server administration, AD, PKI, and GPOs.
• Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and monitoring.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, building, and deployment of Exchange Server infrastructure in labs and production.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex messaging and collaboration failures.
• Perform IAVA testing to ensure patches do not disrupt production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cross-domain mail flow via Email Guards.
• Develop automation scripts for monitoring and health checks.
• Create SOPs and deployment guides; train Tier 1/2 staff.
• Liaise with DoD DISA for cloud-tenant issues and troubleshoot access problems.
• Configure AD, PKI, and Windows Server components for production ops.
