Job summary

CAC I is seeking a SME Exchange Engineer for the GMOS contract to support the Department of State. Lead upgrades, operate Exchange clusters, ensure high availability, and align with DoS requirements. Demonstrate DevSecOps proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines; provide leadership for a high-performing team and strategic staffing decisions.

Experience with Exchange Server 2019+ and enterprise deployments is essential, along with security and backup strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 13+ years in Exchange administration or related IT fields.
Active Secret Clearance is required.
Experience with Exchange Server 2019 or later and enterprise deployments.
Proficiency in DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipeline development.
Strong leadership, budgeting, and staffing decision experience.
Solid knowledge of email security, AD, DNS, and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead Exchange upgrades, enhancements, and modernization across the global enterprise.
Manage Exchange clusters (2019+) with high availability in data centers.
Set operations strategy for domestic Consular facilities.
Coordinate with DT/EA/CST to meet DoS requirements and standards.
Define enterprise backup and disaster recovery for Exchange servers.
Develop DHCP and DNS integration across 350+ facilities.
Build CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, SonarQube).
Provide senior technical guidance on Exchange architecture and security.
