IntVerse.io in Charlotte is seeking an Exchange Administrator to manage and optimize Microsoft Exchange environments, including on-prem and Online components. The role covers migrations, backups, patches, security policy enforcement, and high-availability configuration.

The successful candidate will work with Cybersecurity, AD, and Infrastructure teams to automate tasks with PowerShell and to document procedures for ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proficiency with mail flow, security policies, and mailbox administration.
• Strong scripting with PowerShell for bulk tasks and automation.

Responsabilités

• Provide L3/L4 admin ownership of Exchange and Microsoft 365 messaging environments.
• Design, implement, and manage hybrid Exchange architecture including Online and on-prem components.
• Lead Exchange Online migrations and hybrid deployments with mailbox moves and coexistence.
• Administer Exchange Online/Server, Microsoft 365, and hybrid configurations in complex setups.
• Manage mail flow architecture, connectors, transport rules, and secure routing.
• Configure Exchange Online Protection, anti-spam, anti-malware, phishing protection, and policies.
• Troubleshoot mail-flow failures, NDRs, delays, and client connectivity (Outlook/OWA/ActiveSync).
• Manage Entra ID, AD, Azure AD Connect/Cloud Sync, and directory services related to Exchange.
• Develop PowerShell automation for bulk mailbox tasks, reporting, monitoring, and compliance.
• Oversee mailbox databases, DAGs, replication, DR, and capacity planning for Exchange.
• Lead upgrades, updates, security patches, and infrastructure modernization with minimal disruption.
• Implement RBAC, permissions, retention, litigation hold, and eDiscovery.
• Investigate compromised mailboxes, forwarding rules, and phishing incidents with remediation.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Network, Infra, Service Desk, and Microsoft 365 teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis for incidents and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and disaster-recovery activities.
• Create architecture diagrams and SOPs; mentor junior admins.
