Crothall Healthcare in New York is seeking an Assistant Director to assist the Director of Environmental Services in directing and leading all operational aspects of the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate the tasks of the Operations Managers and serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments to deliver the highest level of service.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Solid understanding of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in health care housekeeping facility maintenance.
• Good work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and empathy, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage staff participatively, coordinate under stress, and develop budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff in accordance with facility policies.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, and terminates staff according to facility standards.
• Orients, trains, develops and supervises all staff.
• Performs regular facility inspections and evaluations; recommends action items.
• Conducts regular staff meetings and coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Schedules major project work and ensures adequate staff and supplies.
• Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Assists Department Director with budgets.
