Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks an EVS/Housekeeping Assistant Director for evening shifts in New York, NY. You will assist the Director of Environmental Services in leading housekeeping operations and coordinating with Operations Managers to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities include establishing standards, planning schedules, hiring and training staff, conducting inspections, managing inventories, and assisting with budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Solid understanding of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate services.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, and recommends termination of staff.
• Orients, trains, develops and supervises all staff.
• Performs regular facility inspections and recommends action items.
• Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Schedules major project work and ensures staff/supplies are available.
• Assists with budgets and inventory management.
