Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc., headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Events and Tradeshows to lead planning and strategy for major US tradeshows and events. You will collaborate with stakeholders across lines of business to deliver best-in-class events and manage external agencies.

The role requires coordinating budgets, ROIs, timelines, and logistics, leading a small team for major events, and supporting the annual event calendar with internal and external

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in event and tradeshow management.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of trade show activities and venues.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Event/Hospitality Management preferred but not required (equivalent direct experience accepted).
• Up to 50% domestic travel required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and strategy for major US tradeshows and events.
• Coordinate and execute major trade shows and events.
• Manage ROI, timelines, budgets and workflows to deliver objectives.
• Organize stakeholders across Marketing, PR, HQ and Management for each event.
• Identify and manage vendor relationships, exhibit design, and logistics.
