Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, New Business Development to identify and shape growth opportunities for the enterprise.

You will surface ideas, run market analyses, and build financial models to turn opportunities into credible business cases, aligning with Finance early in the process. You will lead end-to-end strategic initiatives from ideation through execution, shaping ROI expectations and presenting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Demonstrated experience conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence.
• Hands-on experience building financial and operational models to evaluate new business opportunities.
• Experience partnering with Finance teams on business case development and ROI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify new business channels, areas, and models worth pursuing.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to surface new business model opportunities.
• Synthesize research into clear, decision-ready recommendations for leadership.
• Lead due diligence on prospective opportunities, including market sizing and risk assessment.
• Build financial/operational models to evaluate viability and ROI of opportunities.
• Partner with Finance early to align assumptions and ROI expectations.
