Job summary

FAR.AI, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on AI safety, seeks a Senior Project Manager, Events to bring structure, momentum, and visibility to a growing portfolio of workshops, conferences, and partner convenings.

You will own end-to-end planning, logistics, and cross-team coordination across content, communications, operations, and technical infrastructure, traveling up to 40% of the time to deliver high-quality events.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years managing large-scale or high-complexity events from start to finish.
• Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of events concurrently.
• Able to hold a large amount of detail across multiple workstreams without losing sight of the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project planning and delivery for multiple events running concurrently.
• Move between events at different stages without sacrificing quality or detail.
• Manage logistics: venue, vendors, invitations, communications, budget, on-site execution, post-event wrap-up.
