R. J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to oversee all aspects of assigned events, from planning to teardown.

You will collaborate with internal departments, service providers, and vendors to arrange logistics, lodging, travel, signage, and invitations. The role requires strong customer service and organizational skills, with a talent for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of event coordination or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events from planning through teardown and follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal departments and service providers.
• Manage logistics, parking, transportation, lodging, and travel arrangements.
• Source vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee services.
• Oversee invitations, signage, and promotional materials.
• Ensure safety and security planning for events.
• Plan space layouts and venue coordination.
• Maintain event equipment inventory and maintenance.
• Maintain DOT compliance for vehicles.
• Support the employee pool vehicle fleet and other duties.
