R.J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking an organized Events Coordinator to join our Nicholasville, KY team. The role focuses on end-to-end event planning, vendor sourcing, and on-site coordination to deliver successful gatherings.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and 3–5 years of related experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Regular travel, evenings, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, event management, hospitality, or related field.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience maintaining databases and records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of assigned events from planning to teardown.
• Liaise with internal departments, service providers, and vendors.
• Handle logistics, lodging, transport, and attendee coordination.
• Manage inventory of event supplies and equipment, and ensure safety.
• Maintain equipment records and ensure DOT compliance for vehicles.
