Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Rigging Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise rigging operations across venues, ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs. The RM serves as the main liaison among internal teams, clients, and sales, directing crew staffing and equipment needs.

The role involves reviewing rigging designs, performing load calculations, and coordinating with regional management to ensure safe, efficient event execution.

Qualifications

• Requires familiarity with structural drawings and rigging concepts.
• Experience leading rigging teams (10+ riggers preferred).
• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• ETCP Arena/Theatre certification is a plus.
• Ability to interpret engineered capacity limits and compliance SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise riggers on show sites and assist staffing.
• Oversee training, career development, and performance management.
• Develop pool of part-time riggers for local/regional needs.
• Ensure compliance with Encore rigging SOP and safety protocols.
• Review and approve rigging designs, loads, and weight distribution.
