Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Senior Event Producer to lead programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team. You will own the plan, budget, and production from brief to onsite delivery for a major enterprise client, coordinating with client producers and the Studio Operations Manager.

The role requires 8+ years in corporate event production, a track record on multi-day executive programs, budgets over $1M, and strong Cvent skills.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years producing corporate meetings and events with 3+ years as lead producer.
• Experience on a dedicated account team under a client statement of work (SOW).
• Portfolio includes multi-day executive programs, audiences 500+, and budgets > $1M.
• Production fluency: brief and direct staging, AV, and content partners, read schedules.
• Budget ownership with accurate forecasts, reconciliations, and change control.
• Strong command of enterprise project and collaboration tools including Cvent.
• Executive presence: run planning meetings with senior stakeholders and deliver updates.
• Ability to lead a program team you do not manage with clear expectations.
• Detailed written communication: status reports and decision logs.
• CMP or CMM preferred; experience with production company/hotel/DMC perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs as the producer of record from brief to close.
• Collaborate with client producers to deliver work to the same standard.
• Serve as daily stakeholder contact, run planning cadences and logs.
• Direct creative and production, review against brand standards, own run of show.
• Own each program’s budget from estimate to reconciliation.
• Direct event managers and attendees coordinators, with Studio Ops Manager oversight.
• Maintain master timeline, milestones, and decision logs for all programs.
• Coordinate venue and supplier selection; manage contracts and onsite performance.
• Lead onsite delivery with staffing plans and daily leadership huddles.
• Partner with the Studio Operations Manager on staffing, scope, and risk.
