Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Senior Event Producer to own planning and budgeting for assigned programs, serving as the client’s daily delivery contact. You will build the team that delivers high-profile meetings from kickoff to onsite execution and close.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary program team, maintain budgets with forecasts and reconciliations, and ensure data integrity in Cvent and Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years delivering large corporate meetings and events.
• Experience on a dedicated account team, ideally as its lead.
• Ownership of multimillion-dollar program budgets with accurate forecasts and reconciliations.
• Delivery of large conferences with thousands of attendees in a multi-program annual calendar.
• Advanced Cvent proficiency including registrations, reporting, and integrations.
• Working command of Smartsheet or equivalent project tracking tool.
• Executive client presence with ability to lead meetings and updates.
• Leadership developing meeting managers and coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account program team across registration, content, housing, and F&B.
• Own delivery from planning kickoff to onsite execution and close for all programs.
• Serve as client’s primary delivery contact with status reporting and decisions.
• Own program budgets from initial estimate through reconciliation.
• Maintain master timelines and achievement tracking for every program.
• Lead onsite delivery including staffing plans and run-of-show ownership.
• Oversee documentation standards and post-program debriefs.
