Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring an Operations Manager for the Las Vegas, NV area. This full-time onsite role leads warehouse and transportation, plans labor, and ensures regulatory compliance to drive efficiency and service quality in events and tradeshow environments.

The position requires coordinating with sales and clients, overseeing inventory, and managing a team across multiple districts. A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in warehouse, event operations, or distribution management.
• Experience in tradeshow, event operations, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operational Planning & Labor Scheduling: Forecast labor needs and schedule drivers, temporary labor, and warehouse staff to meet demands while maintaining budget.
• Routing, Scheduling & Dispatching: Schedule deliveries and labor hours, maintain availability, and route trucks efficiently.
• Event Planning & Coordination: Collaborates with sales teams and clients to understand furniture needs and layouts for events.
• Team Leadership: Coach, train, and motivate staff; manage performance and accountability.
• Interviewing and Onboarding: Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse and delivery personnel.
• Inventory and Asset Management: Oversee inventory accuracy and transfers between districts.
• Fleet and Equipment Oversight: Ensure vehicle inspections and DOT compliance; coordinate with vendors.
• Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Control: Manage warehouse payroll costs and monitor expenditures to meet EBIT goals.
• Safety and Compliance: Lead safety initiatives, audits, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Customer Service and Issue Resolution: Escalation point for customer issues and changes.
• Administrative Duties: Manage payroll and reporting; track KPIs.
• Project Management: Lead warehouse improvement projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, asset management, and customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
