Job summary

Slate, a US-based electric vehicle company, is seeking a Senior Wiring Release Engineer to drive electrical system requirements for our battery electric vehicles. You will develop harness designs, manage Tier 1 suppliers, and collaborate with design teams to define interface information and wiring architecture.

You will lead design reviews, create DFMEA/DVP&R, and ensure cost, weight and performance targets.

Qualifications

• ABET-equivalent electrical engineering degree preferred.
• 8+ years hands-on wiring or electrical systems experience.
• Experience with low and high voltage harness development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the electrical system for fully electric vehicles based on requirements from interconnected components.
• Lead development on system features with electrical module owners.
• Lead vehicle-level design reviews with suppliers and internal groups.
