Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is seeking a Sr EVBS Product Development Engineer to lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, owning technical execution and delivering practical solutions for product performance and quality.

You will work cross-functionally to resolve complex challenges, mentor junior engineers, and drive DFMEA/PFMEA activities to reduce risks while collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 4 years of experience or equivalent combinations as described.
• Experience leading engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Experience with product design, testing, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in GD&T and engineering drawings/dimensional requirements for complex products.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects through concept, prototype, testing and release.
• Conduct complex root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop product requirements, specifications, and validation plans.
• Lead prototype development and performance testing.
• Drive reliability, serviceability, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Lead DFMEA and PFMEA activities and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to ensure PFMEA integration.
