Job summary

Cox Automotive Canada is seeking a Sr. EVBS Product Development Engineer to drive concepts from prototype through release. You will own technical execution, conduct root-cause analyses, and deliver validated product designs while coordinating with manufacturing and quality teams.

You will develop requirements, specifications, and validation plans, lead DFMEA/PFMEA activities, and mentor junior engineers. Travel may be required for project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Experience with product design, testing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in GD&T with ability to develop and validate drawings and dimensional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects through concept, prototype, testing, and release.
• Conduct complex root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop product requirements, specifications, and validation plans.
• Lead prototype development and performance testing.
• Drive reliability, serviceability, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Manage technical deliverables, schedules, and project risks.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Lead DFMEA development and facilitate risk assessments for complex products; partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.
• Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
