General Motors Company is seeking a Staff Product Systems Engineer in the Embedded Application System Engineering team to shape end-to-end EV charging and V2X solutions using MBSE to translate requirements into architectures, designs, simulations and testable constraints.

You will lead cross-functional teams across software, validation, UX, mobile and cloud services, ensuring traceability, architectural integrity and timely milestones for complex vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of systems and software architecture, embedded software development, and testing methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded software, infotainment, mechatronics or related automotive domain.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of product taxonomy by decomposing product targets into Feature, System, Solution and API Capabilities.
• Define feature, system and solution requirements, interfaces, states and performance targets across infotainment, mechatronics, compute and other domain systems.
• Develop MBSE functions and linkages via use case diagrams, activity diagrams, API connections and more.
• Support architecture, requirements, and FMEA development at each decomposition level.
• Collaborate across software, validation, UX, mobile, vehicle platform, cloud services and infrastructure teams.
• Represent system team in architecture reviews and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve traceability and performance.
