Job summary
Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support start-up, diagnose and resolve production issues, and collaborate with software and process teams. The role involves building, instrumenting, and testing prototype and limited-production vehicles, and serving as a senior escalation point for electrical, communication, and software faults using CAN tools.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on fabrication and test skills with strong CAN bus and electrical diagnostics, and can mentor
Qualifications
- Associates degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of prototype fabrication/test and electronic testing, repair, or manufacturing support, preferably in electric vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve production issues at the OEV plant using software diagnostic and CAN analysis tools.
- Define and build test beds; set up and operate test equipment to analyze component performance and verify design specs.
- Establish goals, track progress, and drive process improvements across prototype and start-up/production environments.
