Kett Engineering in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician to support a leading EV manufacturer. You will perform diagnostics, baseline testing, and prototype verification of advanced electrical systems in a fast‑paced R&D lab environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data collection, documentation, and collaboration with engineers to advance vehicle technologies. Strong schematics understanding and hands‑on testing skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical testing, diagnostics, or validation.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits and schematics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscopes, and lab equipment.
• Experience with hardware verification and design verification testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of prototype and production‑intent electronic systems.
• Support hardware verification and design verification activities for engineering programs.
• Diagnose and repair component‑level electrical failures using schematics and documentation.
• Identify failure mechanisms, isolate root causes, and document findings for review.
• Operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
• Build, modify, and maintain test fixtures and prototype assemblies.
