Job summary

EVgo is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

You will coordinate across Site Development, Development Engineering, Supply Chain, and Asset Management to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with codes and contract terms. You will mentor junior staff, drive risk mitigation, and maintain rigorous documentation for handover and grant reporting, while supporting a culture of safety and

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years related experience with relevant degree, or equivalent
• Experience leading EV charging infrastructure projects preferred
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA electrical codes and permitting processes
• Ability to travel nationally ~30–50%

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple EV charging construction projects from notice‑to‑proceed through commissioning and handover
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers; report status and costs
• Manage change orders, contract modifications, and negotiations to minimize disruption
• Provide on-site presence to verify quality and complete end-of-construction punch walks
• Maintain complete project documentation for handover, grants, and audits
• Mentor junior managers and contribute to process improvements
