Job summary

Consumers Energy seeks an experienced Ethical Culture & Compliance Manager to strengthen the integrity program and advise senior leaders. You will lead cross‑functional initiatives, manage policy governance, training, reporting, and third‑party risk, aligning with DOJ expectations and ISO standards.

You will drive annual plans, monitor program effectiveness, and support a speak-up culture while ensuring regulatory compliance across enterprise functions; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with 9 years experience.
• Or High School diploma with 11 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop insight-driven reporting for executive and board discussions.
• Advise leaders on ethics, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and compliance risk.
• Evaluate program effectiveness using surveys and data; drive improvements.
• Lead ethics and compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and control testing with remediation.
• Oversee ethics and compliance strategy and annual plans.
