Job summary

Cornelis Networks seeks a Senior Ethernet Performance Engineer to lead validation and performance characterization of our next-generation Ethernet silicon products, both in the lab and at customer sites.

You’ll collaborate across silicon design, system architecture, firmware and software teams to reproduce issues, optimize throughput and latency, and translate findings into actionable hardware and software improvements. This role supports remote US work with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in post-silicon validation or silicon debugging for networking/HPC products.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, PCIe, switching, and congestion control.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance validation and benchmark Ethernet fabrics with RoCEv2.
• Analyze throughput, latency, congestion, and power metrics.
• Collaborate with customers and field teams to reproduce and fix issues.
• Develop tools to collect and visualize performance data.
• Work with architecture, firmware, software teams to root-cause issues.
• Provide guidance for hardware and system improvements.
