Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to prepare quantity estimates using material, labor and overhead costs and manage projects from award through completion. This role requires the ability to analyze blueprints, prepare detailed estimates, and coordinate with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities include bidding, cost control, field measurements, and ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Five years construction estimating experience is preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals to prepare time, material, equipment, production and labor estimates.
• Prepare preliminary estimates for planning purposes and detailed estimates from final plans.
• Consult with clients, vendors and others to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Maintain current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors.
• Prepare bid packages, estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids for projects of any size and complexity.
