Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to prepare quantity estimates and manage projects from award through completion in Idaho. The role blends field measurements with cost projections and collaboration with clients and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background with 5 years of estimating experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read plans and specs accurately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Five years construction estimating experience preferred; or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals to prepare time, material, equipment, labor estimates.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates from plans and specs.
• Manage projects from scheduling to cost projections and billing.
• Check cost sheets for accuracy and budget compliance.
