Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to prepare estimates from blueprints, specifications and proposals, and to manage projects through scheduling, resource allocation and cost control.

Responsibilities include bid package preparation, subcontractor bid analysis, field measurements, and collaboration with foremen to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting. Strong communication and ERP/database skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Five years construction estimating experience preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specs, proposals to prepare time, material, labor estimates.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates based on plans and specs.
• Consult with clients, vendors to discuss and resolve estimates.
