Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Estimator to handle project estimating and support the sales team across multiple accounts. The role collaborates with engineering, vendors, and production to ensure costs are accurate and designs are followed.

The position involves leading turnover meetings, reviewing bids, and coordinating with internal teams to expedite projects and ensure successful execution. A background in construction estimating is preferred.

Qualifications

• Estimating and project management experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and meet bid dates.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read and understand engineered drawings and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Estimate multiple projects concurrently and prepare proposals for sales staff prior to bid date.
• Obtain and review vendor pricing to meet designs/specifications.
• Support sales staff to ensure scope, time frames, and subcontracting needs are met.
• Lead turnover meetings with customers and internal teams to confirm required information and scope.
• Support change order proposals and project scheduling as needed.
• Monitor project progress and proactively solve issues to avoid delays.
• Assist with inside sales, production reporting, and invoicing as required.
