Job summary

Omega Technical Services is seeking a Principal Estimator to support SRNS NNSA Capital Projects from their Aiken, SC location. You will lead cost controls, scheduling and financial analysis across complex programs, ensuring accurate baselines, variance tracking and timely reporting.

The role requires a strong background in project controls within defense or DOE-related environments, with a path toward DOE clearance and leadership of technical teams. Onsite work schedule applies.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE/DoD security clearance.
• Strong PC skills; proficient with automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems.
• Experience with Site Business systems.
• 10+ years in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, or related.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, implement and maintain project controls, cost management and estimating processes across complex projects.
• Lead cost and schedule baselines, WBS, spend plans and resource utilization.
• Provide advanced control expertise and guide teams in multi-project analyses and corrective actions.
• Contribute to routine cost reviews, schedule meetings and change management for assigned work scope.
• Perform variance analysis and communicate findings with mitigation plans to management.
• Support a client liaison role between planning and project execution.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts and spend plans.
• Provide leadership and training to project controls personnel.
