Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a Principal Estimator to support the Savannah River Site in South Carolina. The role focuses on leading project controls, financial analysis, and estimating efforts across complex programs.

The candidate will develop baselines, coordinate with stakeholders, perform variance analyses, and guide teams through change management and cost control throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls, financial analysis or estimating for complex projects.
• Ability to develop cost and schedule baselines and work breakdown structures.
• Proven capability to communicate variance analyses and mitigation plans.
• Lead multi-project analysis and problem correction.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain total project controls and cost control processes.
• Prepare business/financial plans and periodic/ad hoc reports.
• Develop cost and schedule baselines, WBS, spend plans.
• Lead advanced project control applications and systems.
• Guide teams in complex, multi-project analysis and corrections.
• Participate in routine cost reviews and schedule meetings.
• Implement basic change management for engineering and construction scope.
• Explain variances and mitigation plans to management.
• Understand business environment and site operations.
• Serve as liaison between client and planning process.
