Job summary

3i in Dallas, TX is seeking an Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction efforts from concept through bid submission. You will drive takeoffs, cost estimates, and value engineering, and develop bid strategies to maximize value while identifying risks.

You will manage multiple pursuits, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure smooth handoffs to field operations. A 10+ year background in commercial construction estimating with Procore, Bluebeam, and RSMeans is preferred; a

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial construction estimating, preconstruction, or cost control experience.
Deep understanding of CSI divisions, drawings, specs, means and methods, and cost drivers.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff and Excel.

Responsibilities

Lead estimating and preconstruction from concept through bid submission and award.
Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates with value engineering recommendations.
Develop bid strategies, solicitation plans, and scope packages to secure subcontractor coverage.
